"Happy to finally have a way of keeping microplastics out of the water when I do my laundry!"
"i guess it’s a useful tool but i was a bit taken aback when i saw the bag itself it’s made of plastic. I’m sure there is a reason for that but i was still a bit surprised"
"Does the job! Tossed some clothes and undergarments that are made with some synthetic fabrics, and I found some remnants at the corners of the bag. A good way to keep plastics out of the water system!"
"Un producto con una función muy importante"
"I simply love tbe design and how comfy, durable and the fact that it is organic cotton."
"I have couple polyester pair of leggings and this bag is making me sure I am not poisoning the environment with microplastic."
"Since purchasing the guppy bag I’m finding my wash load contained inside it is not draining away properly, so have soggy clothes when the wash finishes. Also my washing machine on occasion since using the guppy bag detects an uneven load of washing so pauses until I address it. Have not noticed any micro plastics as of yet. I am environmentally conscious so will persevere a bit longer with it, just may have to reduce my wash loads and change the setting I’m washing at."
"Well, I've used it five times and never found any fibres in the bag. Does it only work for new items? All our clothes are well used. I'll carry on using it, though, as it is well-intentioned, and I don't want to pollute unwittingly."
"I've seen people using bags like this around the internet to catch micro plastics and have been looking for one myself. I've used this several times now following the instructions, but maybe because I fill it less than halfway I haven't really seen many microfibers? The first time I used this though there was a kind of odd/kind of plastic-y smell. I looked online though and it seems like they use lavender essential oil on the bag? The smell seems like it could possibly be from the lavender, but it doesn't smell like the essential oil I use at home. It's a lot less noticeable now after several washes. If you don't like strong scents, maybe consider washing or handwashing the bag by itself and letting it air dry before your first use. I will keep using this for my activewear!"
"I am very happy with this product and works great. The washing machine I have is brand new (thanks to my landowners) and balanced nicely. But if it wasn't new and balanced, the machine would have been all over the place with the uneven load. Make sure you wash more than just what's in the bag. Otherwise it's perfect!"
