Slouchy socks, made with 71% organic cotton
One style here, the Soft Slouchy Socks, made with 71% organic cotton, in two colors and three sizes.
What makes a sock slouchy?
The cuff is left loose rather than gripped. A slouchy sock has no tight ribbed band at the top, so it gathers down the calf instead of staying pulled up — that gather is the look, not a fault in the fit. It sits higher than a crew sock when pulled up and lower once it has settled.
The fabric
Made with 71% organic cotton, with the rest of the blend printed on the product page. Cotton is the majority fiber, which is why these handle like a cotton sock rather than a technical one, and the small amount of stretch in the blend is what lets the leg gather without sliding off the foot. Our materials page explains how we choose the cotton.
Colors and sizes
Two colors, Matcha Green and Nutmeg. Three sizes, by shoe size rather than by letter: 35-38, 39-42 and 43-46, so each size covers a span.
The other lengths
The crew socks sit at a fixed height on the calf and the ankle socks stop at the ankle bone.
