Our men's cotton sweatshirts and hoodies are made with at least 73% organic cotton, in crewnecks, pullovers and zip-ups that come in XS to XL on nearly every style. There is no substitute for a good sweatshirt: when the fit is right and the fabric holds up, it becomes the layer you reach for again and again, and this collection is built around that idea.

Hoodie or sweatshirt?

A crewneck sweatshirt keeps things simple, with a clean neckline that goes under a jacket or over a shirt, and basic hoodies add coverage and a more relaxed look. Either way, a basic hoodie or a basic sweatshirt in cotton is the easiest layer to start with. Among the hoodies you will find pullovers and zip-ups, many with a drawstring hood and a front pocket, cut with enough room to feel relaxed without looking sloppy. Fits run from slimmer cuts to relaxed, boxy ones, and most sweatshirts have ribbed cuffs and hems that give the shape its edges.

Layering and colors

On colder days both layer over men's long sleeve tops without adding bulk, and a sweatshirt sits under a coat as easily as it goes over a T-shirt. Colors run from black, gray and navy to softer shades, so the same piece works on a workday and at the weekend. Want a different texture? What are our hoodies and sweatshirts made of?

The cotton styles here are made with at least 73% organic cotton, and a few blend it with LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose. Cotton is the natural choice for men's sweatshirts and hoodies: soft, easy to wash and easy to layer. We also make styles with at least 88% recycled nylon, and a few in a blend of at least 50% recycled polyester and at least 45% organic cotton. Some styles have a little elastane for stretch, and every product page lists the exact fabric composition. Sizes and care

Most styles also go up to XXL or XXXL, and many come in XXS. Machine wash cold with similar colors, and dry flat or on a line.
