Women's shorts for warm days and easy days

Our women's shorts run from cotton shorts to stretch shorts made with at least 60% recycled nylon, in relaxed, mid-rise and high-rise fits, and nearly every pair comes in XXS to XL. When it is warm, or you just want less fabric to deal with, a good pair does the job.

Cotton shorts, and what else we use

Our cotton shorts often have a little elastane, and for gym, running and workout shorts we use at least 60% recycled nylon blended with elastane for stretch. We also make a few pairs in LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose (78%), a style in TENCEL™ Lyocell, and a wool blend (50% wool, 50% recycled nylon). Every product page lists the exact fabric composition.

Rise and leg

Cuts run from a relaxed leg that does not cling to closer-fitting stretch styles, with mid-rise and high-rise waists. Pick the relaxed leg for lounging and errands, and the closer fit for training or under a longer top.

Wondering how to style women's cotton shorts?

Keep it simple with a soft tee or a tank: our cropped tank tops have fitted and relaxed cuts for warm days. Sneakers for a walk, sandals when it is hotter, and you are set. If the evening cools, throw on one of our sweatshirts or hoodies; they add a layer without weighing the outfit down. For full-length days, our women's cotton pants pick up where the shorts leave off.

Sizes and care

Nearly every pair comes in XXS to XL, and most go up to XXXL. Machine wash cold with similar colors and skip high heat in the dryer.
