Core Cotton: the cotton part of the Core range

It covers underwear, T-shirts and tops, bras, pants, shorts, socks, dresses and a few cardigans and skirts.

What is Core Cotton?

The name of the range, not a fiber. So "Core Cotton" tells you which line a piece belongs to, and the percentage on each product page tells you how much cotton is in it.

Why the cotton percentage moves

Because the cut decides it. The Core Trunks and the Core Singlet are 95% cotton with a little elastane, because underwear and a close-fitting top both need to stretch and recover. The Core Straight Leg Pants are 88% cotton with elastane for the same reason. Where a piece does not need to stretch, the cotton share goes higher.

What is in the range

Underwear is the deepest part — trunks, thongs, briefs, shorty briefs and boxer briefs — then T-shirts and tops, bras, pants and shorts, with socks, dresses, cardigans, skirts and a bike short filling in the rest.

Sizing across a large range

Nearly every style comes in XS to XXXL, and most also come in XXS; a few go to XXXXL, and the bras use band and cup or numeric sizes. Wash cold with similar colors and dry flat where the fabric is heavy.
