Pointelle underwear made with LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose
Our pointelle underwear is three cuts — the Pointelle Hipster, the Pointelle Shorty and the Pointelle Thong — each made with LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose fibers and 29% recycled polyamide. Pointelle is the openwork knit itself, a fine pattern of small holes worked into the fabric rather than printed on it.
Is there cotton pointelle underwear?
Not on this page. All three pointelle briefs here are made with LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose fibers, with no cotton in them at all. If cotton is what you are after in a pointelle knit, two of our pointelle tops are cotton instead, and the rest of our cotton underwear sits on the women's briefs page.
The three cuts
The Pointelle Hipster sits on the hip with full coverage at the back. The Pointelle Shorty is the longest of the three, cut like a short rather than a brief. The Pointelle Thong is the briefest of the three. All three use the same openwork fabric and the same waistband, so the choice between these pointelle briefs is a question of coverage rather than of feel.
Sizes and what to wear with them
Sizes run XXS to XXXL on nearly every style. For a matching top half, our pointelle bras are in the same openwork knit, and the wider women's underwear page has every other cut we make. Our materials guide explains how we choose fibers.
