PT. Liebra Permana produces our ReNaked Rib underwear – a collection of soft and airy basics made from recycled nylon, a material that is chosen due to its durability, stretch, and breathability, ensuring comfort and a lightweight feel.
For PT. Liebra Permana, industry compliance is a must. By continuously reviewing its approach to sustainability, as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest innovations within sustainable production, this factory has acquired an impressive list of certifications and certificates, leading the way forward with its approach to ethical and Earth-friendly manufacturing and setting new standards in the industry. The institutions who perform the audits of these certificate reviews are really the experts, so we’ll just list their names here: Global Recycle Standard (GRS), Betterwork Indonesia (BWI), WRAP, SCAN, OEKO-TEX, HIGG FEM, GMP, WCA.
At the facility, the carefully selected fabrics are dyed, cut and sewn. This involves using specialized machines to cut the fabric into precise patterns and shapes to create the different components of the underwear, such as the front panel, back panel, and waistband. The pieces are then sewn together, following specific patterns and seam allowances to ensure a seamless and comfortable fit. Using specialized machines ensures optimal use of the fabric, to minimize the amount of fabric scraps left over.
After sewing, the underwear pieces undergo rigorous quality control checks to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality, fit, and comfort. The first batch produced is always a sample size, meaning a small amount of underwear produced solely to check the quality. Any imperfections or defects are addressed before the full production begins. This is to ensure that the final pieces live up to the high-quality standards set, but also to avoid any faulty pieces going into production, avoiding waste and producing only what’ll end up in someone’s wardrobe.
